THE BEGINNING

Seattle suburbs kid, raised on pickup games and staying out until the streetlights came on.

THE SPARK

Placed top 4 in the We the People competition in high school, where I first got into politics and local government.

THE COLLEGE YEARS

Headed to George Fox University, met my wife, graduated summa cum laude with a political science degree, and yes, was the school mascot.

THE NOW

These days: good coffee, fly fishing, pottery, and sunny hangs with my wife.
